I originally set up this blog to showcase the old Dope Rider comic strips I occasionally did for High Times from the mid-1970s through the mid-1980s. With High Times' 40th anniversary issue in 2014, I restarted the strip and have been doing my best to get one done for each issue. A few months after they appear in the magazine, I will archive them here. Note: all images are copyrighted by Paul Kirchner.

Part 2 of a 3-Part Dope Rider

I've gotta start putting titles on these strips instead of guessing what month they appeared in High Times, as I've lost track. Anyway, this one picks up after Dope Rider, Dilly, and the Chief set off in the airship. I'll call it "Dope Rider Hits Denver."

  1. Love this installment. I hope High Times gets their ish together and publishes this one, I'm trying to collect every issue with a Dope Rider piece and it'll irk my nerves having parts 1 and 3 but not 2.

    1. I thought it came out already. If not, should be soon. I'm out of the loop, y'all.

    2. Maybe that's the one that just came out in the new issue last week, I haven't been by the store to check yet

  2. Yup, this page came out in the June issue of High Times that just came out. So it was all out of order, but I'm glad I got all three parts to this story
